This was a concept website for Jade, a plant-based chef who’s deeply connected to her local community. My focus wasn’t just on making something that looked good…..I wanted to position her in a way that actually reflects the impact of her work and makes people want to book her.

Typography does a lot of the heavy lifting in my work, and this project is a good example of that. The logo and type choices are intentional and complementary, giving the brand a strong, cohesive feel without overcomplicating it.

The site looks simple, but that’s very much on purpose. I used code to create subtle movement through animated images and paired that with beautiful, high-quality food photography. It draws people in while keeping the focus exactly where it should be, on her food, and making it easy to reach out.

I also built the site with SEO in mind from day one. For a local business like hers, being discoverable online isn’t optional. It’s part of the design. That’s a big part of how I work; every decision supports not just how the site looks, but how it performs.
