I love the vibe of this website. Fun colors and graphics and most importantly it’s set up for the customer to view the offerings and purchase them with ease. Simple restaurant websites drive more traffic than overly cluttered complicated sites.

Blackbird foods used to sell their homemade seitan to other vegan food businesses in the area, but then pivoted during the pandemic and started selling frozen vegan pizza online!

The photos and the graphics make the website pop and I’m pretty much sold on their products on the first impression.

Nowadays a restaurant is being judged not only for the food but how easy it is to move around a website and find what they’re looking for.

The mellow mushroom did a great job with the design, but at the same time still thought about the customer which makes it a great website.

loveinweho.com

This vegan restaurant website design has a great call to action when you first land on the page.

Putting your call to action buttons, for example, “order now” or “book table” above the fold on a website makes it simple and fast to order food.

Sometimes customers are at work or don’t have that much time, so to be able to order quickly by providing a design element as simple as an “order now” button is a great way to have your website work for you behind the scenes.

19.) Cafe Gratitude

Can we all take a moment to admire the visual design on the cafe gratitudes website? The color palette is muted and bold, making it easy for the user to see the important elements with no problem.

Sometimes when people are DIYing their website, they don’t understand that there’s a science to visual design and the reason it’s used in the first place is to help direct the users’ attention, which in turn helps accomplish business goals.

There’s a lot of strategy behind website design, so it’s important to work with a website designer who is also a visual strategist.

20.) Nourish Hanalei

nourishhanalei.com

I love this really simple restaurant design. The graphics are minimal and the website has a really cute vibe to it.

With all of the tropical photos and delicious Island fresh food, you can’t help want to visit and soak up the tranquil atmosphere.

It’s important when designing your website that your online presence matches the brick and mortar to keep your brand consistent.

People trust brands more that have a strong visual design foundation more than those that are haphazardly put together and scrappy looking.

21.) Russells Eat Healthy Kauai

plant-based food Hawaii | web design

eathealthykauai.com

A great one-page restaurant website design. When you click on the primary navigation, it automatically jumps down to the section instead of going to a different page.

One-page websites are great for user experience because they’re easy to use and there’s zero fluff because only most important things are added.

22.) Hip City Veg

vegan take out | web design

Hip City Veg

This plant-based restaurant website design is one of the best out there because it’s really easy to navigate.

If you want to order food, the call-to-action buttons are front and center and the designer created a visual hierarchy by contrasting the color so it would be easy for the customer to see.

This small detail will bring in more sales because it’s helping the customer find what there looking for quickly.

23.) The Tasty

thetastyphilly.com

Have you ever been to a diner, but could only order lemon water because you were too tired to do an ingredient investigation. I feel ya… well “the tasty” is a spin on diner food, but all plant-based.

How cool is that? I hope more plant-based chefs are inspired by it, so we can enjoy our favorites without worrying.

The restaurant website design has many great design elements that are helpful to their customers.

For example, as soon as you land on the website, one of the first things you start to see when you scroll down is the store hours!

24.) Vedge

Sustainable restaurant | web design

vedgerestaurant.com

One of the best vegan restaurants in Philly! I’m originally from New Jersey so I have to represent my east coast fams!

One of the best-designed restaurant websites as well. Beautiful typography and layout make this website one of a kind.

On the upper right-hand side of the website, the customer chooses if they want takeout or delivery which is a really nice design element and makes the website very well organized.

A well-organized website layout is a difference between increased sales and not as much. So my words of wisdom- less is more when it comes to restaurant web design.

I hope this round-up post gave you some restaurant design ideas to use for inspiration for your vegan food service business!
